Cancellation/Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling of a course is possible up to 7 days before the start of the course with no penalty. If you cancel within the week before the class you will be refunded half of the course value. The first timely rescheduling/rebooking/cancellation of booked courses is free of charge. With the second rescheduling/rebooking/cancellation of booked courses we charge a processing fee of $20 per course cancelled, which will be deducted from the fee returned. If you change your class choice before the first lesson there is no fee to change to a different course. If there is a price difference between the classes you will either pay the difference or receive the difference as credit on your H.O.L.A. account. There is no charge if you find another student to take your place in the class before it begins, but the course fee will not be refunded to you and charged to another student. 

If you have not taken classes with us before, please take a placement test to determine your level. We do our best to place you in the course that best fits your abilities. If after the first class you feel that you belong in a different course we are happy to work with you and your teacher to find the best one. If there is no course currently taking place at your desired level your tuition will remain in your account as credit that you can use when the right course begins.
 
Please note that in case of a refund of the course fees, no external fees will be covered by H.O.L.A. 
As soon as we receive payment for the class your place will be secured and you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not meet this deadline, the reservation will expire and we can no longer assure you that we have a place for you.

In order to cancel you can notify H.O.L.A via the contact form or reply to the email address in the booking confirmation.

Privacy / Confidentiality
The student agrees to have their personal details stored in our database and that lessons are recorded for quality ensurance. This data will be used exclusively by H.O.L.A. We will not give your data to third parties without your permission.

Personal safety
If you feel uncomfortable by anything done or said by a teacher or classmate, please notify H.O.L.A. immediately and all effort will be made to remedy the situation and prevent recurrence.
 

Minimum Group Size
Should the minimum group size for a course not be reached, H.O.L.A. reserves the right to give a reduced number of individual/minigroup classes instead of the booked group class.
 

General Regulations & Holidays
a) Agreements on changes and additions to the described services and booking have to be given in writing (e.g. email).
b) Missed classes are neither made up nor refunded.
c) If the course has to be modified or even cancelled because of uncontrollable events, the course fee will be returned to your H.O.L.A. account for use in a different course.
d) If you have electricity or technical problems from your side, H.O.L.A. cannot be responsible if you miss a class or part of a class. You are responsible for your equipment and internet connection.
e) Due to the international nature of our school no national holidays will be observed. If the teacher needs to reschedule a class because of the observance of a religious holiday they may do so. If the majority of the students feel the need to reschedule a class because of the observance of a holiday and the teacher is amenable they may do so.

Use of H.O.L.A. Material
You may only use or reproduce the content H.O.L.A.’s learning material for your own personal and non-commercial use.
