English for Beginners

About the Beginners Course
(Bring along your friend and pay only 50%.)

Duration: 8 weeks, 2 hours per week, 1 hour on one day, 1 hour on another day (see times below).
Mode: Live online group classes. There is also a platform to practice.
 
It's time to learn English! You need a good teacher and a lot of support to start a new language. HOLA offers both! Your teacher Carla is bilingual in English and Spanish, so you can ask her questions and get answers in Spanish while you learn. Carla loves to teach beginners. She will use easy conversation, games and examples to help you get started. You will have an interactive class twice per week with Carla and your classmates and there will be many exercises for you to do during the week. This way you will be thinking about English and learning more every day! 
 
By the end of this beginner class you will be able to introduce yourself and understand other students tell you about themselves. Some basic grammar for important ideas will be clear and you will have learned many many vocabulary words. If you practice and review every day you will ready to move on to the Elementary class by May! 
 
CONTENT
16 classes (60 minutes for grammar and conversation twice per week) over 8 weeks
Listening, speaking, reading and writing 
Grammar: introduce yourself and exchange facts and opinions
Videos, exercises, games and quizzes to do all week long
