English Pre-Intermediate Course PILOT COURSE

About pre-intermediate (PILOT COURSE)

The PILOT course is 4 weeks long. Regular courses are 8 weeks long.
 
The pre-intermediate level can be very rewarding, because you will see yourself improving all the time and see the results with every conversation! By the end of this class talking to native speakers will still be a challenge, but you will be able to talk about more things that are important to you. You will use your future and past tenses even better to discuss things like family, employment, what you are looking for and about your life in general. Your vocabulary will be building up to a level that allows you to talk more and look up words less! Longer texts with easy grammar will become comfortable for you to read and write about. By the end of the pre-intermediate level you will probably be able to meet someone for a coffee and have an enjoyable conversation about yourselves. 
 
Your teacher will always build the class around your interests and your needs. Topics to discuss may be planned ahead of time or may be from something the group started to talk about. Here are some examples of what you can expect in this class:
 
 
CONTENT
8 classes (45 minutes for grammar, 75 minutes for conversation) over 4 weeks
Listening, speaking, reading and writing about a topic interesting to you
Grammar: "used to do..." "will do..." "am doing..." and more!
Some topics may be opinions about current events, descriptions of your experiences, and how you might speak to your boss or your best friend.  
Videos, exercises to complete and suggestions for practice every week about the same topic you've been learning
